Upgrades seem to be few and far between, on most cruises I've gone on, the ship has been booked and there has been a \"No Upgrades available\" sign at the reception desk. The one time I was given an upgrade from an inside cabin to a outside cabin, it had a view of the Lifeboat!!

23rd March - Vision

2nd May - Independence maiden

October 30, 2008 11 nt cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

You should see Independence when you arrive on the 26th April! I don't know where you'll dock yet. Independence will be in 101 so if you're in Mayflower (106) you'll pass.

I had an upgrade on Navigator back in June which surprised me. It came through less than 72 hours before departure. I suppose it depends on how many decide not to go after all. I'm not expecting one on Independence. I've never had one with P&O and have had two with Cunard.

Feb 23rd - 5 night on Enchantment out of Ft. Lauderdale.

The next one is not yet booked but I hope to go on Majesty again in the fall.

I got a nice pin from Liberty's maiden voyage, and there was the inaugural book that normally is given the first year. They'll have lots of hats, shirts, and the rest for sale too.

I was also on Explorer for her 11th sailing, they were still giving the books away at the time.

Well folks we are heading out tomorrow for South America. Two cruises back to back on the Splendor of the Seas. The first is 8 days traveling throughout Brazil during Carnaval. The second cruise is a members cruise for 15 days around the horn to Chile. When we return I will give details on the member cruise for those who haven't taken a members cruise.

We'll have to live through you, so bring many details back! Travel safe and enjoy!

As I posted somewhere else on this forum, I will be on enchantment Feb 23rd - 5 nights.

I would LOVE to go back on majesty - do the 3 day and then the 4 day - back to back sometime in August or early september.

I haven't left yet and I am already depressed I am coming back.
