Hi, I'm new to this site, but like others, I'm not new to cruising. I've got 12 patrols in Uncle Sam's underwater cruising club. 5 cruises on Royal Caribbean's fleet, 3 on Grandeur, 1 on Radiance, 1 on Mariner. I'm going out again in about 40 days on a back to back repo on Grandeur from Tampa to Baltimore. My wife and I are also scheduled for the October repo on Grandeur from Baltimore to Tampa, and next year, we're going to try Celebrity for the first time. We're going out on the Century next February. I think we're hooked on this cruising thing!

Hey, glad to see you here. Just got back on Saturday, they're taking pretty good care of our ship. I think the repo was the best cruise that I've been on so far. Really enjoyed it very much. Catch you later, either here or on CC!

Yes, DirecTivo is my friend!! LOL

Hiya Wraithe,
I have read many of your posts on CC. This is a very nice site--- just a little underpopulated . I think that you are from Balto. I am northwest about 25 miles from Balto. My family and I will be on Grandeur on 5-29-08. Looking forward to that. Maybe we will be on same cruise in the future.

That is great news. I am starting to get antsy to leave. This time around being our first suite I am thrilled and have been ready to leave for months. I think the most torturous part will be the wait between the wedding day and leaving for the cruise. I won't want to do any work. We've never had DirectTV but heard good things about it.

Hope so, the people that I've met cruising are usually pretty good folks. I'm actually from just outside Pittsburgh, which is about 3-1/2 hours from Baltimore, so it makes a nice drive to get there and back. I can actually drive it quicker than I can fly by the time I get a ride to the airport, wait on flight, fly over, wait on bags and get a ride to the hotel. Enjoy your cruise, Grandeur is a great little ship. Take care.

I don't want to do any work now!! LOL. Just want to be back on the ship. After the hubbub of the wedding, you'll need a couple days to relax before the cruise and pack all the things you think you'll need. You won't need all of it, but it's okay, I still overpack every cruise! DirecTV is good, but DirecTivo is even better, the marriage of DirecTV and TIVO is awesome. I don't how I lived without my DVR! How else could I cruise while Battlestar is showing????

LOL. When we go away on a long cruise (like the 14 nighter in 2006) we have to pare down the season passes in the Tivo to make sure the stuff we REALLY want gets recorded. Right now I've got a ton of wedding shows being recorded but I'll stop recording and watching those after September.

Underpopulated, but growing. I think we are about at the critical mass needed to keep the home fires burning, and continue developing.

As noted in the members-only section, I've had my own personal distractions lately. But I'm excited and gratified that things continue on here.
